(c) the parties may, in a particular case, accept an alternative arbitrator and complete or remove the list of arbitrators by mutual agreement. 1.4.1 has the exclusive power to bargain collectively with TEBA on behalf of all teachers in the bargaining units and to engage teachers in each collective agreement with respect to the core concepts; and 11.2.2 Subject to the conditions of insurance policies for social insurance agencies, teachers on maternity, adoption or parental leave may, through the department, arrange to pay 100% of the benefit premiums provided under the collective agreement for up to 12 months. 4.1.1 The Division may create or designate new positions within the scope of this agreement; However, the division consults with the association before setting salaries and on salaries before the position is published or appointed. 2.2.1 Negotiations on the list of central and local affairs must begin no later than 6 months and no more than 8 months before the expiry of the collective agreement in force at the time and be initiated by a written communication from the Federation or teBA to the other. 1.9 This collective agreement benefits and binds the parties and their rights holders. 4. 14.3.1 In addition to the leave of absence provided in sections 9.3 to 14 of the collective agreement, the parties agree to grant the following leave. Leave is granted with a maximum total salary of four (4) days for the engagement and return of a family member`s secondment to military service. For the purposes of this clause, “a family member” is every member of the teacher`s immediate family. It is possible to take up to two (2) days off at the time of making available and up to two (2) days when the release is made available. 10.5.2 Teachers who are ill or disabled while on leave under Sections 9.3 and 10-14, with the exception of clauses 11.1.1 to 11.1.7 for maternity leave, which begins before May 1, 2019, or clauses 11.1.1 to 11.1.5 for maternity leave beginning May 1, 2019 or after May 1, 2019 , the unauthed path begins with a doctor when the illness or disability begins. When the teacher is expected to return to regular service before the expiry of the departure period, the teacher has access to the remainder of the departure period as sick leave with pay. 11.1.5 At the end of the leave granted in accordance with paragraph 11.1.1, the teacher is reinstated to the position held by the teacher at the time of leave or to a position agreed upon by mutual agreement. In all cases, another organization of the same nature is made available to the teacher, in accordance with the Labour Standards Act and the collective agreement. Notwithstanding paragraph 10.5.2, the teacher may be entitled to sickness pay with maintenance pay under section 10 of the collective agreement for the period of illness or disability.
